"Black Friday" is a bold and uncompromising work, merging the imagery of sacrifice and consumerism into a single, symbolic vision. At its center is a crucifixion, but here, Christ is not just suffering—He is sold.

This piece requires no explanation; it is a statement in itself. It stands as a stark reflection of a world where everything has a price, where faith, morality, and human dignity are caught in the machinery of capitalism. The work challenges the viewer to confront the unsettling intersection of sacredness and market value, asking: What is truly worshiped today? Where does redemption stand in a world driven by profit?

"Black Friday" was presented at the 5th Odesa Biennale of Contemporary Art, held under the theme "Zone of Turbulence", in Ukraine, Odesa. In the context of this turbulent reality, the work resonates even more—highlighting the fractures in a world where commerce and belief collide, where symbols are repurposed, and where values, once thought eternal, become part of the global marketplace.
